About Author Visits
Author Visits within Derbyshire and East Staffordshire.

As it is World Book Day in March I am offering free half day author visits for a select number of schools, in return for the opportunity to sell books at the visit or offer pre-orders for parents to buy the books. Limited spaces, so early enquiries are recommended.

Your Author visit can be personalised to your requirements and is aimed at children aged 6 - 12, school years 2 - 7. I would usually do a storytelling session with a reading from one of my books and also an activity or mini workshop, which can be the same for each class or different classes may prefer different activities. All activities will be age appropriate and can be agreed with you beforehand.
I would always like to incorporate a display of my books and also book signing for purchased or pre-ordered books.

The charge for a half day author visit, to include class workshops and all resources is £150. Book sales and pre-orders are not necessary with a paid visit, but they are always well received. Discounts are available on the half day charge at £2 per book or £20 per boxed set of books sold.

For visits outside my local area travel expenses may be added.
